Not bad to play when there is dead time or stuck in the airport. The performance is too erratic. Suddenly your tank jumps backward 100 meters from where you were, the barrel doesn’t traverse, at a critical point suddenly the gun doesn’t fire on command, etc. I would never pay real money to play this game. It IS fun to prank the whiners in chat though....some of the thirty-something momma’s kids are real pieces of work. They think this game is their day job. Also beware of “penalties” for extended periods of not playing. The AI deleted my tank and a ton of upgrades and decals I had accumulated. It put me back to new player level. This has happened a couple of times, and I finally gave up and deleted the platform.

Yes it’s a fun game but if you don’t spend a lot of money you will not win. They put you on the blue team and the red team will slaughter the blue team 7 out of ten battles they will always put you up against tanks you can hit ten times without exploding and turn on you with one shot and take you out there are also what looks like are AI bots that kill every tank they approach it’s just not fair this is a game to enjoy every tank should and must be able to destroy the others and it always crashes at least three times a day fix it

It’s a great and fun game. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that when you change your tank levels the price of ammo goes up and it costs way too much. It doubles with each tank level. If it cost you 25 diamonds for a sabot round and you decide you want a level 2 tank then the sabot round will cost 50 diamonds, level 3 tank will cost 75 diamonds and so on so forth. It gets too expensive after a while. Still a great game though.

One of the better games available except… $7.99/week? No. That’s insane. $7.99/month I might do. You can only battle a few rounds before you run out of fuel and either have to wait or pay. Greedy is the name of this developer.

There is no incentive to play this game. Although it is enjoyable and the overall design is good. There is a constant need to keep buying coins, diamonds and the like as it’s the only way to play and develop your tank. Save your money and buy a PlayStation or Xbox.

A really great game the graphics are crisp and so detailed.

Be aware that this app War Machines continues to have errors and some times double charges for in app purchases. They will refer you to Apple to get a refund but Apple seems to have an unstated new policy that they will not refund errors made by their apps. This developer will not compensate you for their errors. So pay them at your own risk. UPDATE but they will undo sometimes if If you send a ticket to the developers and they reject your request and/or they treat you unfairly make sure you respond to the feedback request. Keep it civil and detailed and accurate, giving the names of the WM staff you had contact with. That is what I did and it took them a month but they made me whole again.

Starts out cool, but way to many pop ups, buy, buy, buy, I just want to play, stop with the pop ups over and over, if I like the game I would buy something. You would think premium member purchase/subscription would have less pop up option. There has got to be another game that fixes this… I will play until I get board, I truly like these tank games!

Ok so I downloaded this game for my son, but we both really enjoy it. The gameplay is enjoyable and not to hard to use, even for a 6 year old. With how much he and I both enjoy it I thought it was worth looking at how much the subscription was. $8 a week???? I can pay for 3 or 4 streaming subscriptions for what this game is asking and it most assuredly isn’t worth what they’re asking.

basically it’s a tank game where you compete with other players and you can upgrade your tank to kill other tanks faster. Changing to a different tank is also a option but it requires a lot of coins or gems. I haven’t played that far only at tier 2 but this game is still good. there is also a limited number of how many rounds you can play in one sitting. But if you are interested in this game, than please read this if you are sure you want it.

Got booted on first 5x match at the end when I had 20 kills!? So many glitches any more = no fun and expensive I just got ZERO credit on ALL the epic etc crew I collected!?????

When you have this game open on your phone, you will constantly have to close annoying pop-up ads. They advertise every level of stuff they sell on here. The pop-up ads might as well say “spend money, spend money, spend money, spend money!!! it is a never ending series of spending money for better tanks better MO to win more get to different league to spend more money, etc. There is no winning at this game, you never stop, there’s no finish line. And I believe that at times there’s AI bots that you’re playing against. I quit spending money about a month and half in,

To create a game in which you can one shot enemies by shooting them from behind and then spawn people that just died behind other players is the silliest, laziest, most ridiculous excuse for game building I have ever seen. An absolutely awful, cheaply built, and money-hungry game.

Fun but not free. Kinda pay to win

I play on a level 1 tank, against level 4-5 tanks, I think this is complete nonsense I can't buy a level 4-5 tank because I don't have that amount. I wanted to enjoy the game, but unfortunately I didn't succeed.

Game is fun but no longer competitive due to high cost. To compete with top tier tanks you must spend $1200 to $2000 in challenges just to be allowed to buy one. Then you end up spending another $1000 or more buying armor and improvements for it . So unless you are wealthy stay away.

Like any of these games, the more money you spend the more advantage you will have over the other players. It’s aggravating when eight players are in a round and one of those players gets 15 kills while all of the others get two or three. These players are able to destroy enemies with one shot while everyone else requires three or four. If I need to spend money to have a good time I think I’ll spend it on call of duty.

Used to be great. Became too complicated with “crew”. I really miss the game and before I quit I spent way too much to even compete.

Fun game but after you spend money the game begins to glitch and keeps glitching the more you spend I spent over 2000 on one account I don’t even use any more because it glitches so much my account I have had open for 6 month and have not spent a dime one works wonderfully no glitches

Game findings: total rip off! Gives you worthless gifts that will never come into play. Too costly to play and maintain competitiveness, unless you big bucks. Too many issues within the game—needs overhauled to make it fun for everyone rich or poor—fairness is non existent— you either have the money to compete or play til your thoroughly frustrated and leave.

It’s the best tank game out there! Issues? Certainly, but, once you see them, you can work around them. Yes, you can play this game without spending a nickel, but you might not advance as fast as possible. I’ve played for years now - fast and furious and lots of money! Or slow and steady and little money. I have found discipline and now play deliberately! Minimal and calculated spending has lent to a realistic game play filled with strategic surprises! Making great friends from around the world too - some I’ve known for years now! Thank you War Machines! Please note, still waiting for the water and ships… can’t imagine how they might fit in though. The game is pretty good, some old bugs that never get fixed but overall a good experience. Like the title says, this game is expensive. It will honestly run you about $100. A week to play at a competitive level. I’ve never seen a game with the balls to ask 100 bucks for an average game play package. There are no $5 dollar offers. Just be prepared to spend the money.

Purchased 3 bundles at $2.99, game shorted me 7 hours on the bundle so I sought a refund, filed a claim with war machines as well as my Apple Pay and I was refunded the $8.97 I spent, so I logged into my account and found there was 1,297 diamonds missing, 400 were mine and my account was now negative -997, zendesk explained that the bundle I purchased was worth way more than I paid and because I filed a claim that I was going to have to clear my account of the negative coins, but this will cost me $40+, huh? Because I was refunded the $2.99 x 3. So for a total refund of $8.97 it was going to cost me $40+ to get diamonds back to the positive side, could not play the game nothing. Zendesk said that because of the refund they have to take back what the value was of the item I purchased, even though I only received 90 diamonds x 3. And it was an error with the game, not me deciding I wanted my money back for no reason. Now nobody responds to my support tickets and they have made my game not allow me to receive gifts. Geez I can’t tell you how much that is costing me. So buyer beware! Zendesk you need to contact me directly!
